Job description

CONSTRUCTION LABORERS CONCRETE/WATERPROOFING (Maspeth, Queens, NY)
Starting Pay: $18.00-$22.00/hr.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Repair sidewalks.
  • Perform concrete-related work.
  • Perform waterproofing work.
  • Work with cement, concrete, and waterproofing materials.
  • Travel to various job sites throughout the boroughs as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • OSHA 40 Certification.
  • Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Minimum 2 years of construction experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Waterproofing
    • Sheetrock installation and plastering
    • Masonry and sidewalk repairs
  • Ability to lift 50-100 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred but not required.
  • Experience with wet trades, including construction work involving materials mixed with water or liquids such as cement and concrete.
