Job Description Summary:
As a Construction Laborer I - Telecom, you'll support field crews with the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial and underground telecom infrastructure. This entry-level role focuses on learning safe construction practices, performing manual labor tasks, and building the foundation for a long-term career in telecommunications construction.
Job Description:
What You'll Do
  • Assist with conduit placement, cable placement, trenching, and job site restoration.
  • Hand-dig trenches and backfill safely under supervision.
  • Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools.
  • Set up and break down traffic control and safety zones.
  • Clear brush, debris, and obstacles to prepare work sites.
  • Support linemen and operators with pole setting and conduit placement.
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site while following all safety protocols.
  • Participate in on-call rotation schedules and travel to project sites as required, including overnight stays.

What You'll Bring
