Assistant General Manager

$20-23/hr


As an Assistant Manager at O’Bagel, you’ll help lead our team with a hands-on approach, ensuring smooth daily operations, a clean and efficient kitchen, and an EXCELLENT GUEST EXPERIENCE. This is a GM-in-training role designed for leaders who want to grow within our company.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Fully lead and support staff on the GMs day(s) off.
  • Full clarity of product knowledge and execution standards within both FOH & BOH.
  • Open and close the store while consistently executing O’Bagel’s SOPs.
  • Assist the GM in weekly inventory, ordering, cash drawer management and vendor communications.
  • Supervise inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
  • Manage POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling.
  • Assist the GM in enforcing labor schedules & monitor break compliance.
  • Train and mentor Team Leads and entry level crew members on O’Bagel’s SOPs.
  • Manage catering execution and communication.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
  • Provide shift reports and communicate daily KPIs to GM when leading the shift.
Qualifications
  • Able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
  • Familiarity with scheduling, inventory and basic food safety.
  • Daily focus on the customer experience from the moment they walk through our doors to the moment they walk out of our doors.
  • Strong team leadership and conflict resolution skills.
