Yard Laborer

Description: If you're looking to step into a long-term opportunity with steady work and great benefits, this is the job for you! A growing concrete precast company is hiring a Concrete Precast Laborer to support daily production operations in their precast yard. You will be responsible for setting forms, tying rebar, pouring concrete, and moving materials while working hands-on with a variety of tools and equipment. This position offers consistent hours, growth potential, and a path to permanent employment with strong benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting and preparing concrete forms according to specifications.

• Cut wire and tie rebar to reinforce concrete forms safely and accurately.

• Move and stage materials throughout the precast yard.

• Pour concrete into forms and assist with leveling, finishing, and quality checks.

• Perform general construction labor duties including dirt work and utility-related tasks as needed.

Essential Skills:

• 6+ months of construction experience in general construction or utility construction.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Experience performing general labor in outdoor construction environments.

• Ability to work with concrete, including basic handling and placement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with dirt work or utility construction is a plus.

• Exposure to concrete work in a precast or similar environment.

• Experience operating or working around equipment such as excavators and wheel loaders.

• Familiarity with basic construction site practices and safety procedures.

• Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
