Packing/Warehouse Operators

Come join our team at Mitsubishi Chemical America Inc. Polyester Film Division, a manufacturer recognized as a global and innovative leader in the industry as well as one of the largest suppliers of polyester (PET) film in the world.

How to Apply:

Mitsubishi Chemical Polyester Film has posted Entry Level Packing/Warehouse Operator positions for our Packing/Warehouse Department. Starting pay is $19.70 with open progression up to $25.40 depending on certification. $1.00/hr. differential paid for night shifts and $1.50/hr. differential paid for weekend shifts. Benefits are offered on day one and we offer an on-site medical center.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Wrap, package, and transport film safely in a manufacturing work environment following established processes and procedures.
  • Certify and learn job according to training documentation and certify to required level.
  • Take directions from team leader and supervisor.
  • Pull and locate products efficiently and accurately for upcoming transfers and/or customer shipments.
  • Load and unload trailers (if assigned as Warehouse operator)
  • Read and process shipping documents

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED from a school accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or state/country of residence
  • Must be able to pass on-the-job training requirements which may include physical - lifting, pushing and pulling, computer-based safety training, and forklift training.
  • Must be dependable and able to work in team-based environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills
  • Must be able to pass post-offer onboarding requirements which include: hair and urine drug screen, background check, pre-employment physical exams
  • Able to work 12 hour shifts.
  • There are four shift models. You will be assigned a shift after completing the initial training: Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm, Monday-Thursday 7pm-7am, Friday-Sunday 7am-7pm, Friday-Sunday 7pm-7am.
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
