Heat Treat Furnace Operator Entry Level Training Available
Looking for a stable overnight position with hands-on manufacturing work? We are hiring Heat Treat Furnace Operators to join our production team. No previous heat treat experience is required training is provided.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in manufacturing, production, machine operation, warehouse environments, or industrial settings.
What You'll Do:
- Load and unload heat treat furnaces safely according to production schedules
- Operate furnaces using established process recipes and specifications
- Monitor furnace temperatures, settings, atmosphere, feeds, and production requirements
- Perform quality checks including hardness and surface inspections
- Stage materials and organize production areas
- Complete production and quality documentation
- Use gauges, calipers, micrometers, and measuring tools as needed
- Report equipment concerns to supervisors or maintenance teams
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Support continuous improvement efforts and production goals
Requirements:
- No previous experience required paid training provided
- Comfortable working around heat, noise, dust, oils, and industrial environments
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to read measurements and work with numbers
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Able to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout shift
- Must be willing to work overtime when production requires
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to read and communicate in English for safety and training purposes
