Job description

Location: Irvine, CA Salary: $55.00 USD Hourly - $65.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a Telecom Detailed Engineer in Irvine, CA.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Engineering and Design support of all equipment for multiple project types.
  • Supporting the equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics.
  • Creating Material Requests.
  • Forecast future needs based on project start dates.
  • Ensure proper tracking of all components.
  • Monitor all equipment expenditures.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment.
  • Equipment Procurement & Optimization.
  • Oversee equipment receipt and acceptance.
  • Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members.
SKILLS:
  • Experience in equipment, construction, or A&E design.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering construction principles.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications facilities design and construction plans.
  • Understanding of AC utility power, electrical switchgear, DC and AC equipment power distribution, cooling, generators, and aisle containment.
  • Knowledge and experience in 5G deployment.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or Finance.
  • Master's degree (MS/MA/MBA) preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (or Microsoft Office) applications, including Google Sheets (or Excel) data analysis features.
