Job description

Job Summary:

  • Partner with Manufacturing Quality Engineering, Fab Operations, Business Lines and support organizations to deliver continuous improvement solutions in a high-volume semiconductor wafer manufacturing environment.

  • Work on engineering and analytical problem-solving projects under the direction of Quality and Operations Engineering to help optimize quality solutions through a 6 Sigma structured problem-solving approach.

  • Participate in fab-to-fab standardization activities and improvements as well as external manufacturing sites in the local area.

  • Participate in machine learning and AI projects related to quality improvements

  • Learn to develop logical and objective data analysis skills to establish and track metrics to meet department goals.

  • Intern will be the owner responsible for the research, analysis, and presentation to organization leadership of one high-business impact project during their internship.


Job Qualifications:

  • Working towards a Bachelor of Science or Advanced degree inan Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics or Computer Science discipline.

  • Familiarity with Integrated Circuit Manufacturing or Design is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.)

  • Strong data analysis, teamwork, and communication skills.

  • Course work in advanced statistics and data science desired

  • Strong programming skills in R or Python are desired

  • Aptitude and desire to learn new skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural environment.
