Position Overview

ReefPoint Group is seeking AI/ML Engineers and Senior AI Engineers to join our growing Data & AI practice. This position is part of our AI & Intelligent Automation Talent Community, supporting multiple current and upcoming opportunities across our federal client portfolio.


We're looking for professionals who enjoy transforming complex data into intelligent solutions that improve decision-making, automate business processes, and solve real-world challenges. Whether your experience is centered around machine learning, intelligent automation, generative AI, natural language processing, MLOps, or AI platform engineering, you'll have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that support mission-critical organizations.


Successful candidates have experience developing, deploying, and supporting AI-enabled solutions using cloud technologies, enterprise data platforms, and modern software engineering practices. Experience with platforms such as Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Databricks, Palantir Foundry, AWS AI Services, Python, OpenAI, or similar technologies is highly desirable.


What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions that support mission-critical business objectives.
  • Develop scalable machine learning pipelines and intelligent automation workflows.
  • Build, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models for operational use.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and data ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation.
  • Prepare, transform, and engineer data to support machine learning and predictive analytics.
  • Deploy, monitor, and improve machine learning models in production environments using MLOps best practices.
  • Support natural language processing (NLP), document intelligence, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and generative AI initiatives where appropriate.
  • Develop APIs and automation that integrate AI capabilities into enterprise workflows.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical solutions for client challenges.
  • Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
  • Document technical solutions and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience developing AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, advanced analytics, or data science solutions.
  • Experience programming in Python and working with machine learning or AI frameworks.
  • Experience deploying AI or machine learning solutions within cloud or enterprise environments.
  • Understanding of data engineering concepts, model lifecycle management, and software development best practices.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
