Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm and rotating Saturday 6:30am - 3:30pm


Job Purpose:

The Service Advisor liaises between customers and technicians, ensuring superior customer service and efficient repair scheduling. They prepare and bill repair orders, assign work, and manage customer communication. The role prioritizes honoring commitments, fostering positive customer experiences, and continuous learning.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Honor Commitments:

  • Process all shop repair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates. ? Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs.

Create Positive Experiences:

  • Provide effective communication to customers regarding their job orders by preparing estimates for repair work and parts.
  • Work closely with customers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to repair work.

Foster Lifelong Learning:

  • Monitor job schedules to ensure timeliness of repairs and job pricing.
  • Maintain inventory of parts, paint, and materials necessary for repair functions.

Exhibit Pioneering Spirit:

  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes and efficiencies within the shop.

Demonstrate Good Stewardship:

  • Complete invoicing and collecting procedures in a timely manner.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the shop.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows. Must possess demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
