As a Project Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects, supporting the team to ensure timely and quality delivery - focused on Phase 6 - supporting the production factory. This entry-level role offers a great opportunity to develop your project management skills while working on impactful engineering initiatives.
In this role, you will impact project success by assisting in defining project scope, tracking progress, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine your engineering talents in a team-based culture by working with innovative products and technologies
  • Apply engineering knowledge, tools, and principals to develop/improve aircraft Fuel Systems
  • Works under the direction of Sr/Lead Project Engineer
  • Assignments are geared to develop project management and technical skills and to build in-depth product knowledge
  • Work closely with peers and team members, customers, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met and completed in a timely manner
  • Supports technical projects or phases of projects involving the design and development of new products or improvement of core products and/or processes
  • Plans work packages and develops cost, schedule, and milestones for small to medium product development activities
    Interface with technical leadership, program manager, and customers

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • 0-2 years of experience in engineering or related roles, preferably with internship or co-op experience
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and engineering processes
  • Familiarity with project scheduling tools and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting
  • Knowledge of engineering fundamentals and ability to learn technical software relevant to the discipline.
