Job description

The Position
We seek an Exhibit Technician to work in our hardware workshop, which assembles and supports multitouch tables, kiosks, touch displays, and custom exhibit installations. We are looking for a detail-oriented, quality-focused candidate to help us build the most reliable integrated systems. Ideum sells its interactive hardware worldwide, and we've now shipped our products to 60 countries.
Candidates must have experience with PC systems, experience using basic tools, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. We will help the right person not only assemble our touch tables but also learn the basics of technical documentation and product support. Strong writing and communication skills are required. Experience with electronics, electrical systems, 3D printing, and/or shop tools, including CNC, plasma cutter, mill, and woodworking tools, is a plus. As a relatively small company (around 45 people) with a broad range of products and projects, we need someone who is flexible and has a broad skill set. This is an in-person position.
We are a fast-paced company with high expectations; we seek someone as passionate about the work as we are. Our workshop team collaborates with the rest of the company along with external partners, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Compensation for this entry-level position is $43,680.00
This job is onsite at our offices in Corrales, NM.
After 90 days of employment, this position includes paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, critical illness and accident insurance, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability insurance.
