Job description

Locations & Work Style:
Blue Bell, PA or Boca Raton, FL: This role is primarily remote. Candidates should reside within commuting distance of their assigned office and be available to work onsite as needed. Employees are welcome to work onsite more frequently if desired. Please note that this role may transition to a hybrid work model in the future.

Irving, TX: Hybrid schedule - onsite a minimum of four days per week, with one remote day. Five days onsite may be required based on business needs.

What You'll Do:
This is an entry-level engineering role focused on developing and maintaining automated tests as production-quality code. You'll work alongside experienced Quality Engineers and Software Engineers, gaining hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, CI/CD practices, and AI-assisted development tools.

Test Automation Development

  • Write and maintain automated tests for APIs, services, and user workflows under guidance from senior engineers

  • Contribute code to existing Automated Test Frameworks (ATF)

  • Help build and execute smoke and regression test suites as part of CI/CD

  • Debug test failures and identify whether issues stem from test code, product defects, or environment instability

  • Manage system hardware and ensure it remains in a testable state

AIAssisted Testing

  • Use AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor) to:

    • Generate test plans

    • Assist with writing assertions and test flows

    • Help repair broken tests

  • Review and refine AIgenerated code with guidance to ensure quality and correctness

  • Improve processes where possible through AI integration

Quality Engineering & Collaboration

  • Partner with developers to understand features and expected behavior

  • Participate in code reviews for test automation

  • Learn how to think about testability, coverage, and quality risk

  • Develop tools as needed to support manual and automated testing efforts

  • Progress from guided contributor to independent ownership of automation areas or test suites

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

  • 0-2 years of relevant software development or test automation experience, gained through internships, co-ops, academic projects, or professional roles

  • Basic proficiency in Java or Python

  • Familiarity with:

    • Writing and reading code

    • Version control systems (e.g. Git)

    • Automated testing concepts

  • Willingness and ability to learn debugging, CI pipelines, and test frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, REST, Push API testing)

  • Internship or academic experience writing automated tests

  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for Engineer I is $64,000.00 - $96,000.00 based on experience and qualifications.

Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance.

We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
