Overview


As a Senior Technician, you will provide basic tech support and troubleshooting for various computer and networking hardware and software.


Your Impact


The essential functions of this position include:The essential functions of this position include:
   Basic hardware configuration of servers, desktops and laptops, routers and switches and operating systems
   Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs; escalate to engineers as appropriate
   Provide deployment and racking of hardware components both desk side and in a data center environment
   Serve the customer to ePlus' standards
   Be available to meet customer IT needs
   Work towards achieving industry-specific entry-level certifications: i.e.- CCNA, MCSE, Network+, Security+, etc.


Qualifications


  • High School Diploma required, technical school or college preferred
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in an IT profession
  • A+ certification
  • Good understanding of network/data center environments
  • Possess basic troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Excellent customer service skills on phone and in person
  • Professional demeanor and good communication skills
  • Able to come up with solutions quickly, in a fast-paced environment

Position Specifics


The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $50,000 and $60,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.
