Job Summary:
Milestone Technologies is a global IT managed services firm focused on driving business outcomes through technology solutions. They are seeking an Entry Level Data Center Technician to support the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers and networking equipment, ensuring the reliability of data center operations.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Support the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers, networking equipment, and cabling.
โ€ข Gain a solid understanding of the ticket management process and contribute to timely resolution.
โ€ข Learn and apply diagnostic methods to troubleshoot data center equipment effectively.
โ€ข Accurately pull and manage inventory in accordance with established documented processes.
โ€ข Ability to work cross functionally to maintain accurate inventory systems.
โ€ข Develop skills in server repair techniques, including replacing hard drives, RAM, motherboards, and other components.
โ€ข Assist with physical tasks, such as moving and racking equipment for special projects.
โ€ข Perform additional tasks as directed by management to support operational goals.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข High School Diploma or GED.
โ€ข A Real ID or other federally accepted identification for U.S. travel.
โ€ข Minimum 1 year of general work experience.
