Job description

If you’re a tech-minded individual interested in electronics, a career at CSI-Electronics Processing Center (CSI-EPC) is for you. We are an IT equipment Lease return center and a ITAD (infotech asset disposal company) for many major corporations in Canda. With our R2 certified Recycler designation we ensure proper handling of all end of life electronics and e-waste.

We are currently seeking a Processor/Warehouse Support position working in Surrey/Langley, BC to become a valuable member of our production team. This is a great entry-level opportunity to join a growing 40 years global and 25 years in Canada company.

What to expect in this role on a given day:
In this exciting role, you will bring your excellent work ethic to our warehouse. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Promptly respond to job requests
  • Work and communicate professionally with managers and co-workers
  • Pack and wrap equipment on pallets and move computer equipment
  • Use software to record and remit IT equipment information
  • Perform minor diagnostic tests to identify IT equipment grade
  • Clean and repackage products to prepare for resale
  • Using a pallet jack to move equipment around warehouse and in/out of trucks
  • Package and prepare equipment for general shipping - using pallet wrap/strapping
  • Assist with local customer pick-up, when needed

You will be a good fit for this position if you:

  • Have experience in a professional or warehouse environment
  • Have a basic knowledge of computer hardware
  • Can lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Are able to work 8 hours shifts while performing the duties of this job
  • Are able to regularly bend, twist, and reach
  • Can use a pallet jack to move IT equipment from dock to workstation
  • Are proficient in handling IT equipment by reading and identifying serial printed letters, numbers, symbols, and model information with a small font size
