About the Role

Davidson is seeking a motivated customer-focused IT Specialist to join our IT team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone starting their career in IT, with a passion for troubleshooting and delivering excellent user support. If youre curious, adaptable, and eager to deepen your technical expertise while taking on increasing responsibility, this role offers a front-row seat to some of the most exciting work in the market.

What Youll Be Doing

No two days look the same, but your core responsibilities will include:

  • Help monitor and manage IT tickets in the ticketing system, ensuring timely responses and resolutions
  • Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues operating systems, and software (such as Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive).
  • Help with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain network systems, including routers and switches.
  • Support system updates, patches, and data backups.
  • Prepare technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate with IT staff on projects and initiative
  • Other duties as assigned, including department wide projects

  • Diploma or certificate from a post-secondary program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
