The Faculty of Business & Information Technology at Ontario TechUniversity invites applications from qualified individuals for a one-year,limited-term Academic Associate position teaching courses in the undergraduateBachelor of Commerce program. The successful candidate may be expected to teachcourses such as Databases, Data Warehouses & Business Intelligence;Business Simulation & Analytics; Advanced Business Intelligence; SystemsAnalysis & Design; Technology Management Trends and/or manage the Capstoneprojects.

Ontario Tech is a technology-enhanced learning environment, and the candidate should have demonstrable skills inthe integration of technology and AI into teaching, and be able to model those skills in their own teaching and pedagogy. Dutieswill include preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials and workshops,preparing and marking assignments, tests and examinations, responding tostudent inquiries, maintaining regular office hours, invigilating tests andexaminations along with providing service to the university such as throughcommittees. Duties may include thesupervision of teaching assistant(s) or mentorship of students in casecompetitions. The successful candidate will be expected to follow an 70%teaching and 20% service and 10% other workload for the year.
