Position Summaryย 

Works under limited supervision to design and transform user requirements into an application program for a real time or batch data processing system. Works onย highly complexย projects and provides technical leadership for juniorย personnel.ย  ย 

Pay Grade:ย 55ย 

Salary Commensurate with Experience and Educationย 

Minimum Qualificationsย 

  • Three (3) years programming experience of which two (2) years in application developmentย 
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university inย Computer Science, Data Processing, or a closely related field; ORย 
  • An equivalent combination of related education,ย and/or experience.ย 
  • PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Duties and Responsibilitiesย 

  • Functions as "System Integrator" for the Information Technology Application Services Section, providing leadership and vision to develop integration between diverse systems using an Enterprise Service Bus.ย ย 
  • Designs and constructs system interfaces, including their definition, organization, documentation, and implementation.ย ย 
  • Investigates and makes recommendations about useful web technologies and reports results to management.ย 
  • Maintains security and integrity controls.ย ย 
  • Establishes andย maintainsย support tools.ย ย 
  • Creates and monitors web standards and procedures for Information Technology Dept.ย ย 
  • Develops specifications for web applications.ย ย 
  • Integrates data and systemsย through the use ofย JDBC, ODBC,ย WebServices, or other acceptable methods.ย ย 
  • Prepares performance reports.ย ย 
  • Consults andย advisesย various departments on making web site information more accessible to theย general public.ย 
  • Prepares activityย and progress reportsย regardingย the web development section.ย ย 
  • Performs testingย in accordance withย established procedures.ย  ย 
  • Consults with system's users and development groups on test results.ย 
  • Codes, debugs,ย tests,ย and documents application programsย as requested by management.ย  ย 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.ย

  • Knowledge of SSRS, Crystal Reports, XML, XML Schema, JSON, REST and Log4J.ย
