Lakes Country Service Cooperative is seeking a full-time Information Technology Coordinator to provide planning, configuration, and support of network infrastructure and systems for LCSC and their members. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of hardware platforms and operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS. Experience with Linux administration is preferred. We offer a collaborative and flexible team environment with opportunities for professional growth and skill development. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about technology, innovative, self-motivated, and has excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a positive outlook and a willingness to learn. This is a full-time, hybrid position with regional travel required.
Position Details:
  • Schedule: 260 days/year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage member technology and network infrastructure including LANs and WAN, Windows and Linux virtual servers, Windows workstations, Apple workstations, Apple iPads, and Chromebooks.
  • Analyze current network architecture and make recommendations for enhancements or redesigns.
  • Coordinate network expansion, upgrades, and new site installations in collaboration with cooperative staff and district partners.
  • Monitor and maintain network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and servers.
  • Implement and maintain backup, failover, and disaster recovery systems.
  • Administers the member's business information systems, such as a student information system, learning management system, etc., where applicable.

Required Qualifications:
  • An associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related field required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in network administration, network engineering, or infrastructure support.
  • Considerable knowledge of various hardware platforms, as well as Microsoft Windows, MacOS, and ChromeOS operating systems, preferably with some Linux administration as well.
  • Highly experienced in Microsoft Office systems, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Google applications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Linux administration.
  • Experience working in a school or public agency environment.

Pay Range: $70,000.00-$76,000.00
