Job description

Position Summary:  The Desktop Engineer troubleshoots and resolves computer hardware, software and related technology device problems. This position also maintains, installs, upgrades, and configures computer hardware, software, devices and the overall desktop experience. Additionally, the Desktop Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining and deploying hardware and software standards to meet the needs of the organization. Must be able to travel, work different shifts, after hours and be on-call. May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Three years’ experience in a computer/user support environment. Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware, software, and related technology device problems. Must have experience in, but not limited to Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Office and other standard software. Must be customer service orientated and have the ability to take direction, manage time, manage work load and communicate clearly, both orally and in writing. Must be able to lift/carry 20–40 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications: Computer/user support environment in a healthcare related field; healthcare-related software experience.

Salary range: $34.37 - $48.37 Salary will be commensurate with experience.
