Role Description This is an on-site, contract Hardware Engineer role based in New York, NY. The Hardware Engineer will design, develop, and test electronic hardware components and systems, including circuit boards and computer hardware assemblies. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing schematics, performing simulations and analysis, building prototypes, and conducting validation and verification testing. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting designs and test results, troubleshooting hardware issues, and supporting production and field deployments as needed.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Hardware Development and general Hardware engineering.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in Circuit Design and Electronics Hardware Design.
  • Candidates should possess practical experience with Computer Hardware configuration and integration.
  • Proficiency with EDA tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, OrCAD) and hardware debugging equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) is beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of digital and analog electronics, signal integrity, and embedded systems is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
