Job description

Basic Qualifications

  • BS / MS in Electrical, Electronics, Compute, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experienced in automotive industry. (TIER1/TIER2 preferred)
  • Experience in embedded electrical designs
  • Familiar with EMI/EMC design, test and troubleshooting
  • Familiar with electrical architecture topologies, Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and other industry standards
  • Solid understanding of system/component design
  • Familiar with vehicle bus, e.g. ETH/CAN/LIN/LVDS, communication protocols and troubleshooting tools
  • Experience in thermal management of ECU embedded electronics
  • Ability to participate and lead schematic and layout design reviews
  • Good knowledge of state-of-the-art hardware systems, software tools and algorithms for interfaces required for actuators, firmware development, in-vehicle bus architectures, in-vehicle CPU/GPU/NPU computing platforms, image and audio signal processors, connectivity
  • Knowledge of ADAS, Infotainment Systems and Zonal Architectures, Software defined vehicles
  • Being able to support more than one expertise domain is a plus
  • Power Integrity and Signal Integrity experience is a plus
  • Experience in an architectural hardware/system role is a plus

Should have experience in:

  • Min 2 Yrs. Schematic and Layout design
  • Experience in Altium is a big plus
  • High complex multilayer layout design
  • PCB design rules
  • PCB to Mechanical interface and constraints
  • HW debugging, investigations, problem solving with electrical lab equipment
