Job Description

The Buyer I position is hands on in all aspects of an assigned category within Rally House. This position supports product selection, forecasting, trend analysis, assortment planning, and vendor negotiations. This position thrives off analytical attention, creative passion for sports, and a deep interest in players and statistics. From product selection to allocation, Buyers capitalize on all opportunities to drive business and offer incredible product in all Rally House stores nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Allocate merchandise to stores based on inventory analysis
  • Collaborate with Marketing and E-commerce teams to drive merchandise sales in stores and online
  • Manage a low volume of purchase orders, including purchase order creation, inventory logistics, receiving, and allocation
  • Perform entry-level forecasting, reporting, and sales analysis
  • Ensure vendor compliance with shipping and pricing policies
  • Work independently while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Identify trends for new products, graphics, and Rally House exclusives

Skills and Knowledge

Able to communicate with others in a clear and confident manner, Excellent project management and prioritization skills, Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Strong negotiation skills

  • 2 years of previous buying experience
  • Advanced Excel experience required
