Leidosโ€™ Defense Systems, Systems Integration and Test Team is seeking an Entry Level Test Engineer.... We are a diverse team that works to implement unique solutions for complex problems in the defense sector, including but not limited to kinetic and directed energy defensive and offensive platforms as well as RADAR and other surveillance and sensor technologies. Primary Responsibilities
  • Creating, modifying, and executing test plans to satisfy program requirements.
  • Completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
  • Briefing internal parties on test results and data.
  • The position may require working outside in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • The position may require minimal travel for test events (approximately 4 weeks a year).
Basic Qualifications
  • The position requires an ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering.
  • Candidates must have basic understanding of developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
  • Candidates must have direct, handsโ€‘on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
  • Ability to document test artifacts, test results, and supporting technical deliverables.
  • Candidate must be US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
  • Candidate must be a resident of Northern Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 0+ years of experience with test planning and execution.
  • Basic knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator)
  • Basic experience software languages Python and LabVIEW.
  • Basic experience with Linux, MATLAB, and Wireshark.

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
