About Us


We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer Associate to join our multi-disciplinary team in Louisiana. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in engineering design and project management. You'll assist in preparing reports, specifications, plans, permit applications, and construction schedules, while supporting client communications and contributing to quality control efforts.


Here's What You'll Be Doing


  • Provide general, entry-level support to the engineering department.
  • Preparing construction cost estimates, schedules, reports, and project design calculations.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable company and client quality requirements in all assigned programs, functions, and areas.
  • Preparing design plans and specifications for projects.
  • Evaluate the physical conditions of the worksite to aid in design plans.
  • Conduct assessments of damage at worksites.
  • Use of CAD and other design software to develop design documents.
  • Assisting in construction administration duties for projects under construction.


Here's What You Need

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Candidate must be willing to take and pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam within three months of hire.
  • Valid driver's license
  • No experience required.


Supervision

Work requires the occasional direction of helpers, assistants, seasonal employees, interns, or temporary employees.
