Job description

Job Summary:
Perkins&Will is seeking a Digital Practice Specialist I to cultivate digital practice leaders within the firm. This entry-level role focuses on foundational digital delivery tasks, supporting project teams, and assisting the studio Digital Practice Manager with technology integration.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Collaborates with and reports to the studio's Digital Practice Manager.
โ€ข Collaborates with design teams to develop project-specific implementation strategies.
โ€ข Provides ongoing support and consultation to ensure the success of digital design and delivery workflows.
โ€ข Ensures quality assurance with project teams to maintain modeling quality, adherence to firmwide best practices, and consistency of information across applications.
โ€ข Assists with technology training, conducting workshops, and participating in curriculum development.
โ€ข Coordinates with the firmwide Digital Practice group to promote local adoption of new technologies, workflows, and practices.
โ€ข Coordinates application support with the IT infrastructure group and firmwide help desk.
โ€ข Participates in office and firmwide planning related to digital design and delivery innovation.
โ€ข Proactively maintains and communicates current knowledge relative to technology through journals, vendor resources, marketing collateral, and the design community.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Proficiency in core design applications with an emphasis on troubleshooting and basic customization of digital tools and processes.
โ€ข Familiarity with design workflows and digital delivery processes.
โ€ข Ability to support project teams and assist with technical problem-solving.
โ€ข Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral, and graphic).
โ€ข Ability to work collaboratively with team members and provide support as needed.
โ€ข Eagerness to learn new design technologies and workflows.
โ€ข Revit
โ€ข Rhino
โ€ข Computational design & scripting (e.g., Grasshopper, Rhino Inside, and Dynamo) required
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s Degree in a related field required.
โ€ข LEED GA within 6 months of hire.
Preferred:
โ€ข Professional accreditation in one area of Living Design that interests you (LEED AP with Specialty, BREEAM AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, CPHC/CPHD, or ILFI Living Future Accreditation)
โ€ข Active involvement in AXP or starting the ARE Process
