Community Corrections Specialist - Residential Facility (Entry-Level)

Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $19.10- $21.96/hr (depending on shift differential)
Schedule: 3rd Shift (Overnight Shift)
Location:Lakewood, CO
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
Experience: No experience required (Paid training provided)

Intervention Inc., a Colorado non-profit, provides services within the criminal justice system across the state of Colorado including sobriety monitoring (UAs/BAs), electronic monitoring, probation supervision and community corrections.

Are you looking to launch your career in criminal justice, social work, or law enforcement? Join our Intervention Inc. team as a Community Corrections Specialist. In this entry-level role, you will work directly within our residential transitional facility to help justice-involved adults successfully reenter the community.

This position offers a clear career pathway into probation, parole, case management, and public safety. We provide full paid training to ensure your success.

What You Will Do (Day-to-Day Duties)
  • Monitor Facility Safety: Conduct routine rounds, headcounts, and building security checks.
  • Track Resident Compliance: Log resident movements, sign-ins, sign-outs, and curfew adherence.
  • Enforce Accountability: Administer routine urine drug screenings (UDS) and breathalyzer tests.
  • Maintain Records: Complete accurate logbook documentation and shift incident reports.
  • Support Reentry: Assist residents with facility guidelines, chore supervision, and resource access.
