Description
Aeriz is searching for a full-time Cultivation Irrigation Technician for multiple shifts - for our state-of-the-art indoor aeroponic cannabis production facility in Riverbank, CA. The successful candidate will possess a passion for Cultivation, excellent interpersonal skills, experience leading others, cannabis knowledge preferred, with a willingness to continually learn more about the subject.
The Irrigation Technician maintains all the irrigation nutrient tanks, creates concentrate nutrient mixes based on standard operation procedures, and maintains operation of the Reverse Osmosis equipment. The entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn and grow with the Company from the ground up, and to take on increasing levels of responsibility over time. This role will report directly to the assistant cultivation manager and work on-site at our facility in Riverbank, Ca.

Responsibilities

• Maintain irrigation tanks for Cultivation rooms following strict SOP. 
• Mix concentrated stock tanks from dry nutrient recipes.
• Operate Reverse Osmosis systems for clean water generation. 
• Monitor irrigation parameters such as EC, PPM, PH, and Water temperature of nutrient solutions. 
• Monitor cultivation rooms to ensure no system failures or issues takes place over the 3rd shift
• Maintain continuous inventory of supplies and report needs to manager or lead.
• Restock supplies in common spaces as needed. 
• Trained to be a pesticide handler, including shaving for a mask fit test, wearing a mask, and understanding pesticides regulations and PPE required
• Comply with all health and safety standards, including those of the Organization, Public Health Department, DCC, and other governing entities.
• Report unusual occurrences or damage.
• Other cultivation duties as assigned by management, including trim up, structure, and defoliation.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Ability to work productively independently within a team environment.
• Math required for inventory, projections, and measurements.
• Exhibit the ability to work well within the organization and with others.
• Complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner required.
• Follow established Company policies required.
• Close visual focus is required.
• This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of irrigation parameters preferred. 
• Attention to Detail is required.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, stretch and lift up to 50 pounds. Requires the manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment and hand tools.
Work Environment:
This position involves a fair amount of manual labor which requires repetitive tasks. This position operates indoor which can reach different temperatures. This position may require working at heights up to or exceeding 10 feet. The site operates on weekends and holidays, and standard work hours may apply regardless of day or season.
