Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Site/Civil Engineer to join our Gainesville, VA office to work on all phases of civil/municipal engineering including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, water and sanitary sewer design, and erosion and sediment control design. Individual may also conduct permitting and code research, write specifications, and preprare and submit permit applications. Individual may analyze hydrologic and hydraulic models and computations for storm water and watershed master planning.

Required Skills & Required Experience
  • BS in Civil Engineering required
  • Previous internship experience in Site/Civil preferred
  • Knowledge of floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency using CADD
  • Desire to work in a team environment
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred but not required.

Salary Range
The projected range for this position is $80,400 - $82,900 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
