Now Hiring: Utility Operator - Production
Appleton, WI | 1st Shift
Full-Time | Entry-Level Friendly | Growth Opportunity
Looking to start or grow your career in manufacturing? If you're mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to learn, A to Z Machine Company is hiring a Utility Operator - Production to support our CNC machine shop team.
This role is a great opportunity to build hands-on skills while contributing to quality parts and a high-performing team.
What You'll Do:
Support production and inspection teams
Perform basic inspection using gauges and visual standards
Assist with assembly (bolting, fastening, clipping components)
Deburr, polish, grind, and hand-finish parts
Operate bandsaw equipment (after training)
Train to run production parts following standard work instructions
• Monitor quality and notify leads of any issues
Maintain clean, organized work areas
Follow all 6S, ISO/quality, and safety standards
Shift Options:
1st Shift: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
(additional hours as required)
You're a Great Fit If You Have:
High School Diploma or GED
1+ year manufacturing experience (preferred)
Valid driver's license with clean record
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Positive attitude and team mindset
Willingness to learn forklift, crane, and equipment operation
Blueprint reading (a plus, but not required)
