Stone Interiors, a highly respected countertop fabricator specializing in granite, marble, and quartz, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Currently, we are looking for A CNC Operator with an exceptional work ethic who want to learn and grow with our dynamic company. Experience is required
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

1) Quality Control.
Efficiently operate the CNC machine in order to attain the required precision cuts for each job. Prior to cutting assigned pieces, preview the tool path cut on the control panel and verify point of origin. Review Autocad drawings and templates to ensure cut is correct. Ensure the correct material is on hand. Accuracy rate is 98% for square footage processed. After job is completed, record the time to process the job and certify it is correct on the requisite Quality Control sheet. Complete assigned work safely and efficiently in a controlled environment.
2) Safety.
Abide by OSHA requirements and established company procedures. Attendance at weekly and monthly training sessions is required. Conduct processing and or production operations wearing required safety gear in accordance with OSHA requirements.
3) Operation and Maintenance of Equipment.
You are directly responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of all equipment assigned to you. Clean assigned work areas and equipment at the end of each day. Coordinate repairs of equipment as needed. Maintain and operate equipment in accordance with operating manuals and procedures, and maintain your assigned work area in a high state of cleanliness/readiness. Operate and maintain equipment in an environmentally controlled and safe environment.
4) Reporting.
Submit report/information by the end of each work day:
Completed work and total linear footage cut
Errors or remakes including contributing factors are reported.
5) Meetings.
Attend all required meeting. Production and safety meetings.
6) Discipline and Good Order.
Required to comply with established procedures and commitment. Evaluation of work performance is done as needed. The basis of the evaluation is the agreed to tasks.
7) Security.
Safeguard your assigned equipment. Theft of company property is not tolerated and is cause for termination of employment. Secure assigned equipment, as applicable in wall lockers or compartment. The plant is under 24-hour surveillance by security cameras and devices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1+ years of CNC experience
  • Comfort utilizing computer systems and capable of learning and utilizing client operating systems
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
  • Ability to lift and/or carry 50+ lbs. Ability to bend and/or squat frequently and climb stairs/ladders occasionally
  • Ability to reach above shoulder level frequently
  • Ability to repetitively grasp, push, pull, perform data entry, and manipulate fine objects with hands
  • Ability to withstand exposure to moving machinery marked changes in temperature or humidity, and dust, fumes, and gases.
Mechanically inclined and willing to work a threading machine and power tools. Strong work ethic, desire for a long-term career, and commitment to continuous improvement.
