Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career, and client-oriented Junior AI/ML Strategist to join our team in Arlington, VA. This is a Hybrid position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Framework Support: Assist in deploying and maintaining enterprise-level governance frameworks for AI/ML models, helping track model ownership and structured approval workflows.
* Documentation & Inventory: Maintain comprehensive model inventories, standards registries, and functional technical documentation.
* Data & Process Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret data pipelines to identify process inefficiencies and support basic requirement-gathering tasks.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the real-world effectiveness of deployed solutions and system updates.
* Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, data, and compliance teams to ensure client deliverables align with structured project timelines.
* Change Management Tracking: Support stakeholder change management initiatives by preparing reports and presentations that track user training and the adoption of responsible AI practices.
* Value Documentation: Assist in collecting pre- and post-implementation facts to help document the technical ROI and build business cases for expanded client capabilities. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
* 0-2+ years of experience in an operational, analytical, or technical project support role.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills with an ability to interpret technical requirements and map out complex business processes.
* Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and accurately within a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: * Foundational Security & Cloud: Security+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent entry-level cloud/cyber credentials. Clearance Requirements: * US Citizenship is required.
* Must possess an active Secret with eligibility for Top Secret / TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements: * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
* Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
