ABOUT THE ROLE
This entry-level BIM role supports engineering, drafting, and production teams through daily coordination and model support activities. You'll assist with Revit model setup, content management, maintaining standards, and ensuring quality and accuracy across projects. The role also helps keep teams aligned by supporting coordination and improving workflow consistency.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Respond to BIM and Revit support requests and help troubleshoot common modeling, documentation, and coordination issues
  • Support drafting, engineering, and production teams with Revit and Autodesk Forma workflows
  • Assist with Revit model setup, including templates, views, worksets, linked models, shared coordinates, and model organization
  • Help maintain BIM standards, templates, shared parameters, naming conventions, and workflow documentation
  • Assist with Revit family and content maintenance for precast components such as panels, beams, columns, embeds, and connections
  • Support model coordination by linking architectural, structural, and trade models and helping identify coordination issues
  • Organize project files and support common data environment workflows, including folder structure, file naming, and document control
  • Assist with shop drawing production workflows and model-based deliverables
  • Participate in testing new tools, workflow improvements, software updates, and automation opportunities
  • Learn company BIM standards and help provide basic guidance to users as experience grows

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to support engineering and drafting teams through BIM and Revit-related work. They are comfortable learning new tools and processes, contribute to team collaboration, and take initiative in maintaining model quality and standards. They are motivated to grow their skills in BIM coordination and play a hands-on role in supporting project workflows.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
  • 2-year drafting degree that incorporated Revit training/experience
  • 3 years of precast Revit modeling in lieu of a degree
  • Basic experience or exposure to Autodesk Revit (school, internship, training, or personal use)
  • Interest in learning BIM coordination, model setup, content management, and project workflows
  • Familiarity with Revit tools, families, schedules, templates, or model standards is a plus
  • Exposure to BIM or coordination tools (e.g., BIM 360, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud) is helpful
  • Awareness of construction, engineering, architectural, or AEC environments is preferred
  • Ability to learn new software and follow established processes and standards
  • Interest in automation, scripting, or improving workflows (e.g., Dynamo) is a plus
  • Ability to help troubleshoot basic software or workflow issues is beneficial

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Occasional visits to active plant and field locations are required based on operational needs.
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required while in the plant and field.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate active plant and field environments as needed.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, and safely move through industrial work areas.
  • May be exposed to moving equipment, machinery, and other standard industrial hazards.
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, as well as noise, dust, and vibration.
