As part of our continuing growth, we are looking for a capable and collaborative mid-level Cloud Engineer to join our inclusive technology team. This role offers the opportunity to design, implement, and support secure, scalable cloud environments while contributing to modernisation, automation, and continuous improvement across client projects.
Responsibilities - Cloud Infrastructure, Automation & Platform Engineering
  • Design, deploy, configure, and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Support the implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Administer cloud services including compute, networking, storage, identity and access management, monitoring, and backup.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
  • Build and improve automation scripts and deployment processes using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines that support efficient, repeatable, and secure application delivery.
  • Monitor cloud environments, investigate incidents, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement preventative improvements.
  • Apply cloud security, governance, resilience, and compliance standards across infrastructure and operational processes.

Essential Skills - Cloud Engineering, DevOps & Infrastructure as Code
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional experience in a cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, or systems administration role.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Working knowledge of cloud networking, virtual machines, containers, storage, identity management, and security controls.
  • Experience developing and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or an equivalent tool.
