Job description

Koniag Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services Company, is seeking an experienced IT Manager/ Cloud Network Engineer with an active Secret Clearance and Current OSD experience to support KTS and our government customer in Arlington, VA. Position Overview:
This opportunity is for a unique individual with a broad skill set that can provide IT Service Desk support in Cloud Engineering for the Cloud Computing Program Office (CCPO). The individual will be part of a team developing an internal and external Tier 1 to Tier 3 Help desk as well as conducting an analysis and documenting help desk usage. The individual will also need to work cross functionally to develop help/service desk solutions to ensure the mission of the CCPO is achieved. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Support and maintain the full scope of CCPO Tiers 0 – 3 Help and Service Desk including web self-service, agent reference content, incident flow creation, ticketing, resolutions, and M&P’s. Provide telephony, tools and automation systems technical implementation, monitoring, including capacity management. Solicit and document Help and Service Desk requirements for new and evolving CCPO support needs. Provide agent role duty planning, rotational staffing, and resource capacity management. Provide incident reporting and metrics. Assess and evaluate DoD client enterprise cloud questions and usage. Create and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering diagrams, systems operations documents, testing and evaluation (T&E) plans and T&E reports, and user operations guides. Study cloud computing product offering samples and communicate with cloud computing requirements designers and developers.
Work with technical staff to make cloud and cyber products easier to use.
Manage Atlassian tools – JIRA, Confluence, and JIRA Service Desk (all cloud based)
Perform technical writing/editing, editorial consultation, proofreading, or overall documentation review for various documents. Assist other team members in other specialties as needed to accomplish the overall mission. Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
8+ years related experience. At least one (1) certification with a focus on cybersecurity, including CISSP, CISM, CISA. Other certifications or advanced degree/experience may be allowable in substitution
Understanding of multiple cloud environments. Requires deep analytical thinker who can assimilate large amounts of information quickly. Extreme comfort speaking with Department executives required. Requires deep understand of the state of the art in cloud technologies. Highly motivated professional and capable of managing demanding workload while prioritizing and managing competing priorities Experience with DOD IT business processes (desired)
Knowledge of MacBook iOS/Linux (desired)
Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage. Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities Powerful analytical and problem-solving skills – including the ability to develop solutions in new and creative ways. Ability to organize and manage large amounts of data, files, tasks, schedules, and information Ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion Desired - Know how to navigate the DISA Joint Service Provider (JSP) to get work done. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable in a fast paced/dynamic environment.
