Job description

Job Title: Clinical Data Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Data Coordinator to join the Clinical Trials Office at a renowned Cancer Center. This hybrid position involves working on-site for two days per week. The coordinator will provide direct clinical and data management support related to the conduct of clinical trials and the collection and reporting of study-related clinical data for clinical studies within an assigned disease team or area. Utilizing independent judgment and high-level decision-making, this role is responsible for data entry, monitoring visits, and patient scheduling for assigned disease team trials.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient/study participant care from recruitment through off-treatment and follow-up phases, including scheduling and verification of appointments.
  • Independently and accurately abstract, create, and maintain study participants' research records, ensuring all required data is collected, source verified, and entered into sponsor databases.
  • Collaborate with study sponsor personnel and maintain effective communication.
  • Utilize advanced computer skills with Excel and Word, and manage electronic medical databases.
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage a variety of duties and shifting priorities in a changing environment.
  • Ensure professional appearance and manner as well as an excellent attendance record.

Essential Skills

  • Two years of related work experience in clinical research or data management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and electronic medical databases.
  • Impeccable interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to multitask and be organized with meticulous attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle software, Medidata Rave, EPIC, and ONCORE.
  • Knowledge of federal regulations for HIPAA and IRB.
  • Experience working in a clinical trials setting preferred.
  • Oncology experience is a significant advantage.
  • Completion of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work environment with two days per week on-site. It provides an opportunity to support cutting-edge research while ensuring compliance with complex billing and regulatory standards. Remote candidates must reside in one of the following states: Alaska, California, Connecticut, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wyoming. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.83/hr.
