CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Entry Level Safety Coordinator.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Maintains required safety documents/files
  • Monitors reporting of and investigates near-miss situations
  • Conducts periodic safety walk-through inspections of all workplace facilities, identifying potential hazards and ensuring appropriate corrective action is taken
  • Completes inspections of safety equipment at all workplace facilities
  • Participates in safety investigations and audits
  • Participates in the injury investigation and reporting process
  • Participates in and maintain minutes of safety committee meetings, working with leadership to ensure action items are followed through until completion
  • Provides safety training as needed
  • Provides safety program support in areas including but not limited to employee, contractors, and facility safety; safety training
  • Assists with executing the organizations and departments overall risk and safety strategy
  • Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates Degree in related field preferred
  • OSHA 10-hour training preferred
  • Proficient English abilities required
  • Must be able to perform multiple duties and complete assigned duties with deadlines
  • Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge
  • Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methods, preferred
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with general supervision

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

  • Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
  • Lift/carry up to 20lbs.
  • Push/pull up to 10lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, bending, and twisting
  • Occasional stooping or crouching
  • Use of small hand tools
