Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for an experienced structural engineer to join the Construction Engineering Services group in our Denver, Colorado office. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our team, applying your expertise and sound judgment to evaluate, select, and implement top-notch structural design techniques. This role involves managing projects from early design through construction as well as fostering strong relationships with clients through communication and high-quality engineering work.

The Team

Our structural engineering teams provide custom solutions for new constructions and expansions, with a strong record in notable projects like Coors Field, the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, and Harborcenter.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients and contractors as primary point of contact throughout the project life cycle.
  • Manage and collaborate with engineering and technician staff to produce high-quality projects.
  • Act as a mentor and resource for less experienced staff regarding design techniques, software, and code questions.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.
  • Uphold quality control by checking calculations, drawings and other documents.
Requirements:


Required

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Proven experience in structural engineering
  • Holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one state
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive engineering experience
  • 1 year of professional experience equivalencies include a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering, OR passing the 16-hour NCEES structural engineering exam
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to work in the Denver area. Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Effective at communicating and working with clients, Design Teams, and colleagues

Working Conditions, Skills, and Abilities


This position is primarily technical in nature and requires working inside and outside the office to complete a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required:

Compensation


The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

  • Base Salary: For individuals hired in Colorado, a reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $102,000 to $113,000 annually. This is a salaried position with accrued time eligibility.
  • Accrued Time: Accrued time allows additional compensation or time-off to be earned for any eligible hours worked exceeding 40 hours per week.
  • Base Salary Review: This role is eligible to participate in Martin/Martinโ€™s annual base salary increase review process.
  • Annual Bonus: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary annual bonus program.

Base salary review and increases, in addition to annual bonuses, are dependent on various factors, including a hired individualโ€™s job-level and annual company performance.
