  • Assisting with field work as needed including travel to active sites for short assignments, collecting observations and measurements, and bringing findings back to the team for follow-up and documentation or support of other teams field programming.

  • Working with a multidisciplinary team to compile, review, and manage project data (e.g. design criteria, calculations, notes, exhibits, and supporting materials) to help keep deliverables accurate and on schedule.

  • Learning to apply new tools and software as projects require (including Autodesk products, HEC-RAS, Excel and others), with coaching and feedback from experienced staff.

  • Collaborating closely with your assigned lead (and broader team) to take instruction, ask questions, prioritize tasks, and communicate progress as you complete assignments.

    • Mentorship and hands-on support from experienced engineers and other professionals as you grow from entry-level work into increasing project responsibility

    • A steep learning curve with real project exposure-mixing office-based design and analysis with opportunities to support field efforts as needed

    • Professional development aligned to your long-term path toward EIT/PE licensure (including encouragement and support as you work toward your EIT/PE)

    • Exposure to industry-standard tools and workflows (e.g., CAD/Civil 3D, hydrology/software tools, and Microsoft Office), with time and guidance to build proficiency
