Dewberry is currently seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Site/Civil Department in our Raleigh, NC office. As part of our site/civil team, you will make an impact in the community by helping our clients solve their most challenging problems. Projects will include the design of diverse land development projects.

Responsibilities
  • Site/civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design.
  • Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
  • Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
  • May also conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.

Required Skills & Required Experience
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
  • 2+ years of experience.
  • EIT is strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical capabilities in Civil 3D.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • State permitting experience, especially in NC, is preferred.
