Entry-Level Chemical Operator / Chemical Blender


Pay: $22.00–$24.00/hour DOE

*Direct Hire*

Schedule (Set 8-Hour Shifts):

  • 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
  • 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
  • 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM


Job Summary

Ready to start a career in the chemical industry? ProSource Staffing is seeking dependable, safety-minded individuals to join a growing chemical manufacturing team. This opportunity is ideal for recent P-Tech graduates, candidates with some industrial or manufacturing experience, or motivated individuals looking to begin a long-term career as a Chemical Operator. Training is provided for candidates with the right work ethic and willingness to learn.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with chemical blending and batching operations following batch sheets and SOPs
  • Measure, weigh, and add raw materials to production equipment
  • Load and unload drums, totes, bags, and other production materials
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility (training available for qualified candidates)
  • Perform material transfers using pumps, hoses, and valves
  • Label, package, and stage finished products for shipment
  • Complete basic production and quality documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S)
  • Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and LOTO practices
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals


Qualifications

  • P-Tech degree OR some industrial manufacturing chemical experience preferred
  • Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and desire to learn are encouraged to apply
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required
  • Comfortable working around chemicals in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to work assigned 8-hour shift and overtime as needed
  • TWIC card preferred (or ability to obtain)
  • Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
