Ruhrpumpen is an innovative and efficient pump technology company that offers highly-engineered and standard pumping solutions for the oil & gas, power generation, industrial, chemical and water markets.
We are searching for an entry-level Assembler to work in our Fire Pumps division.
Position Overview
The entry-level Assembly position is a foundational manufacturing role designed to train, develop, and prepare employees for promotion into an experienced Pump Assembler.  This role focuses on basic mechanical assembly, material preparation, equipment operation, and hands-on skill building under close supervision.  The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and eager to learn advanced pump assembly skills through structured on-the-job training.
Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude or experience working with tools in manufacturing, automotive, maintenance, or similar environments preferred.
Ability to learn and follow verbal and written work instructions.
Willingness to train on forklifts, cranes, rigging, and precision measurement tools.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and desire to grow into more advanced assembly roles.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and manual assembly work.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with industrial machinery, noise, and fluids.
