Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the manufacturing center in selecting process flow, equipment, technical agreement, and introducing equipment to the production.
  2. Take charge of engineering and technical issues during the production trial run and ramp-up after the new production line's equipment installation, debugging, and validation, as well as improving production capacity and yield.
  3. Responsible for compiling and reviewing documents such as process flowcharts, process standards, and work instructions, and be proficient in production processes and critical control points.
  4. Solve on-site process problems in the cell production line and regularly update the quality issue list to prevent recurrence.
  5. Evaluate, verify, and introduce new equipment and technologies for each process to the cell production line.
  6. Develop plans for process experiments in each process, collect and analyze data, and summarize reports.
  7. Conduct relevant knowledge and skills training for production line employee.

Requirement

  1. Process Engineering Skills: Process improvement, troubleshooting, data analysis, process optimization, and quick problem-solving, etc.
  2. Familiarity with the IATF 16949 quality system and process control methods, proficient in Control Plan, PFMEA, SPC, and familiar with APQP, MSA, PPAP.
  3. Familiarity with FTA and the seven QC tools, familiar with 8D and 6 Sigma management tools.
  4. Strong ability in data collection, organization, and analysis, with logical thinking and documentation skills.
  5. Good communication and coordination skills, team working, able to search resources during production trial run and capacity ramp-up.
  6. Prefer with the principles of lithium-ion batteries and the cell manufacturing process.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70k - $120k + 15% bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
