Job description

Title: CDL B Driver - $1,500.00 Sign-On Bonus!* 

Location: Everett, MA 

Manager: Delivery Manager 

Job Type: Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt 

Job Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:45am - 1:00pm - 5:00pm; depending on route and daily workload

Pay Range: $28.00 - $36.00/hour

Objective: Class B Drivers are responsible for safely operating straight trucks and box trucks—all equipped with automatic transmissions. Each route is supported by a Delivery Helper to assist with unloading. This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and professional delivery service while upholding product quality standards. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
  • Rotate stock and place products appropriately in dry and refrigerated storage areas.
  • Ensure all pallets loaded onto the truck are secure and stable for transport.
  • Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier. 
  • Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the supplier. 
  • Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members. 
  • Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) to report any maintenance or repair needs. 

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age. This is a legal requirement to transport alcohol.
  • Active CDL Class B License in good standing. 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating CDL B trucks. 
  • Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. 
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 5:45 AM; end times may vary between 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM depending on route and delivery volume.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Must be able to stoop, bend, lift, and twist regularly.
  • Must be able to lift approximately 55 lbs (e.g., two cases of beer).
  • Must be able to operate a two-handed hand truck on inclines and stairs.
  • Requires frequent walking up and down stairs and inclines.
  • Must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform job duties safely and effectively.
