Job description

The Driskill Hotel, steeped in historic traditions, originally opened its doors in 1886 by cattle baron, Jesse Driskill. Today, the hotel remains one of Austin's most notable landmarks. 

The Mid-Level General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. The Mid-Level Engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills. Previous experience troubleshooting electricity, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical repairs is required. Previous hotel maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
