About the role Job Summary
The Mechanical Technician is responsible for fabricating, installing, calibrating, testing, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems.
This job profile is intended for entry-level support staff who follow specific instructions and procedures, with supervision provided for non-routine situations.

This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large, Division / Extra Large organization.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the installation and repair of mechanical systems.
Calibrate and test mechanical equipment.
Fabricate and assemble mechanical components.
Follow maintenance schedules and safety protocols.
Document work performed and report issues.
Skills & Qualifications
May require basic vocational training (or equivalent work experience) and the ability to carry out assigned tasks after initial instruction or demonstration.
