Business Systems Analyst IV

Location: Anaheim, California (On-site)

Role Overview

This position will function as an Integrations Developer/Analyst. The primary responsibility is the development and maintenance of applications integrations for department interfaces. Additional duties include supporting business applications through maintenance activities such as upgrade initiatives, development of applications, reports, and interfaces, user support, and application testing. The role involves interacting with business application owners to identify needs, assessing business process improvements, and providing technical and process guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain application programs, scripts, and system interfaces.
  • Migrate integrations and applications to a similar integration platform such as MuleSoft or IBM Ace.
  • Gather business requirements and document specifications for application and integration development.
  • Develop and implement processes for application migration, testing, and support maintenance.
  • Interact with business application owners to identify business and technology needs and assess process improvements.
  • Provide technical and process guidelines in applications development and operations.
  • Deliver production support for the integration platform and interfacing systems.
  • Prioritize and assign completion dates for fixes and change orders with users and team members.
  • Follow existing business processes and operational guidelines for user support and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with staff and vendors for application support and issue resolution.
  • Support 24x7 business operations and be available onsite during business hours.
Required Qualifications

Education: A college degree, preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, is required.

Experience
  • A minimum of three years of proven work experience as an applications developer.
  • A minimum of two years of experience developing and maintaining integrations on platforms like Tibco BusinessWorks, MuleSoft, IBM Ace, or Koodisi.
  • A minimum of two years of experience using message brokers such as Apache Kafka, Apache ActiveMQ, or IBM MQ.
  • Experience as a primary contact for client and vendor requests.
  • Experience in production support for business applications, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Experience in applications development, version upgrades, and system implementation.
Technical Skills
  • Application development experience using C#, .NET, Java, or another object-oriented programming language.
  • Scripting experience or use of tools like Docker and Python for application containerization.
  • Knowledge of maintaining reports using tools such as Cognos, Crystal Reports, Power BI, Business Objects, or Tableau.
  • Experience with relational databases like Oracle and/or MS SQL Server.
  • Hands-on programming experience with SQL, PL/SQL, or equivalent versions.
  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and issue resolution skills.
  • Verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and technical writing abilities.
