Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $67,300.00 - $112,200.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 5%, based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.

Position Details
The Event Operations Analyst supports the operational processes, technology platforms, reporting, and measurement activities that enable successful delivery of Grainger's event portfolio. This role partners with the Event Team's Manager, Process Optimization, the Event Planning and Leadership Team, and business stakeholders to administer event technology, support workflows, standardize processes, and deliver reporting solutions that improve efficiency, consistency, scalability, and attendee experience. The role serves as a subject matter expert for assigned platforms and operational workflows.
You Will
  • Analyze operational processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and business outcomes.
  • Support the development, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of standardized operating procedures and workflows.
  • Configure, administer, test, monitor, and maintain event technology platforms throughout their operational lifecycle.
  • Support implementation, maintenance, optimization, and adoption of technology solutions and associated business processes.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with business partners and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, and operational metrics.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and process efficiencies.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across technology platforms and reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement by regularly identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize operational processes and recommended technology-enabled solutions and automation opportunities, while maintaining documentation and standards.

You Have
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of supporting operations, reporting, analytics, technology platforms, or process improvement activities.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement, workflow documentation, and continuous improvement methods used to support efficient and standardized business operations.
  • Experience analyzing operational data and developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics that translate business requirements into actionable insights and operational solutions.
  • Knowledge of business technology platforms, data management practices, and system administration activities, including testing, troubleshooting, data integrity, and user support.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to document processes, maintain operational standards and job aids, and support implementation of process and technology improvements.
