  • The chance to contribute to meaningful business solutions in a manufacturing and engineering setting
  • Practical, cross-functional experience as part of a broader digital transformation effort
  • Mentorship from a Manager of Business Analysis and Process and a Business Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Reporting and Analytics Support

  • Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports for business users.
  • Support reporting and analysis across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, and other functions.
  • Help users validate report outputs and confirm that business requirements are met.
  • Assist with recurring reporting, KPI tracking, and ad hoc analysis to support decision-making.

Microsoft Fabric Support

  • Work with curated data already available in Microsoft Fabric to support reporting and analysis needs.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining Fabric assets such as semantic models, dataflows, reports, and related objects.
  • Help validate data accuracy, consistency, and usability for business reporting.
  • Support documentation of data definitions, report logic, and business rules used within the Fabric environment.

Data Quality and Business Support

  • Help identify data issues, missing values, inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve reporting reliability.
  • Assist in reconciling data across business processes and reports.
  • Support meetings with business users to understand reporting needs and follow up with analysis.
  • Help document metrics, requirements, and process improvements related to analytics initiatives.

Automation and AI Support

  • Assist with business process improvement opportunities that use Power Automate, reporting workflows, or AI-enabled solutions.
  • Support early AI use cases by helping organize source data, document needs, and participate in testing.
  • Assist with document-based or workflow-based pilot efforts where AI may help improve efficiency or reduce manual effort.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to support implementation and testing of new analytics and AI solutions.

General Analytics Support

  • Help answer business questions using Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Fabric-based datasets.
  • Assist with special projects related to digital transformation, enterprise reporting, and operational analytics.
  • Contribute to a growing data and AI program by supporting both day-to-day reporting needs and longer-term capability building.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and interest in business data, reporting, and process improvement.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, SharePoint, or related Microsoft technologies is a plus.
